Two paths diverged in an eLearning course, but in this case it’s probably not as good of an idea to take the one less traveled by. Or at least, it’s a good idea to make sure that the path you take is the correct one! Branching scenarios give a learner an opportunity to make good choices over bad ones by placing them in important situations with specific desired outcomes. We have a large selection of these types of templates in our eLearning Template Library for Adobe Captivate users. We’ve chosen three to highlight here.
This template presents a simple, flat design that can be used for just about any type of scenario. With options for both two or three choices and all of the appropriate remediation pages, you have all the building blocks you’ll need to help get your learner to the right outcome. Copy the slides as needed and change the look and feel to match your organization. Customize our templates to fit your content perfectly.
Sometimes a scenario needs that more personal, conversational touch. Whether you’re trying to help your employees approach a customer out on the sales floor, solve a customer service issue, or even figure out how to best approach a workplace dilemma, this branching interaction can help them get through it! While this template includes a few images, don’t forget that our library of cutout people can also help you to customize the look and feel of the conversation.
Yarrr! There be important choices to make, matey! At times, you want to have a little bit of fun in your eLearning course, and we don’t blame you. We have a few themed branching scenarios in our library, including this pirate map style, that you can pair with a fun story or even a game template.
Whatever choice you make, these branching scenarios are a good path to take. Remember, if you already have a Captivate 9 license, these templates (and many others!) come included in that purchase. So, start downloading now! Watch our short video that shows you how to access them. If you haven’t jumped on the latest version of Captivate—or happen to be a Storyline, Lectora, or PowerPoint user—never fear! We have many other libraries you can subscribe to here.
