Every great thing needs a great introduction. For instance:
- “Four score and seven years ago…”
- “A long time ago in a galaxy far far away…”
- “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times…”
An Adobe Captivate course introduction gives us context and lays the groundwork for what is to come. It creates a first impression that either hooks the audience’s attention or else dissuades them from spending any further time with it.
With that in mind, we have been hard at work creating new animated intro templates for our Captivate Library. Without further adieu, we present to you these fine specimens.
This serene intro opens with a light piano riff with line art feathers gently floating down through the frame. The earthy tones of the Feather template‘s color scheme suggest a woodsy late-autumn environment, which is sure to capture the attention of any nature-loving learner.
The Fans template has a light blue background with a neatly scored texture. Smooth calypso music plays as a handful of dark triangles fan out to create a jagged, yet geometric pattern of overlapping peaks that nicely frames the title text.
Dust blends the old with the new, juxtaposing a flamboyant hot pink texture with a subdued speckle pattern. The music is also an interesting blend of high-pitched, old-fashioned harp music against a thumping bass line, creating something that is truly modern and unique.
The Diamond template lives up to its name, in that it is an absolute gem. This intro gives a sense of anticipation by perching the viewer over the New York City skyline and ushering in the title text with an action movie soundtrack, and flanked with geometric line art diamonds.
You can find these and other great templates in our Adobe Captivate template library, which comes included with a purchase of Captivate 9. Don’t forget to make a great first impression with your next course!
