Anyone who has ever edited audio knows that quality sound effects are an essential part of the process. Lucky for them, we have an expansive library full of sounds that will add a little something to your eLearning course.
This week, we’re adding four handy stock sounds to our Free Library for a limited time only, so snap them up quick.
*BZZZZZZt* “I’m sorry, but you didn’t give that answer in the form of a millionaire. You are the weakest survivor. You’re fired!”
This three-second buzzing sound can be used for wrong answers, ringing in to answer a quiz question, or even a buzzer-beating, game-winning shot.
Two minutes of smooth and jazzy piano music. This song provides a classy and professional soundtrack to just about any corporate eLearning course or instructional video.
A common trope we see in cartoons is a delicate *ding* sound whenever a character winks, or when a random flash of light reflects off a shiny object. With this stock sound, you get four different tones of that sound effect to use for all your shiny, winky needs–or wherever else you choose to use it.
A strained, warbling, almost comedic instance of a man screaming in fear. One suggestion for using this sound is to combine it with others to create a really chaotic, post-apocalyptic soundscape. The *pew-pew* of lasers, the roar of an indiscriminate monster in the distance, an explosion, and finally, this.
Which of these free sounds was your favorite? How would you use it in your eLearning?
