In early February, the eLearning community was privileged to hear from Dr. Allen Partridge, a senior eLearning evangelist for Adobe, through a webinar titled “Integrating free games, graphics, interactions to make your eLearning more engaging”.
In it, Dr. Partridge spoke extensively about the use of free assets to improve eLearning. Dr. Partridge did a great job chronicling many online resources you can use to create excellent eLearning, such Adobe Color, Behance, and others. We highly suggest you take a look at the webinar here.
We were lucky enough to be recognized in the webinar as a repository of over 1.5 million eLearning assets, and we appreciated the nod.
Fitting with the theme of free assets, we wanted to highlight a couple assets that you can easily gain access to by signing up for a free account with us today!
Sometimes you need an image to supplement your course, but just slapping down a picture all by itself might not cut it. In those situations, we’ve got cutout frames like the one shown above. The file is a PNG so the inside of the frame is transparent, allowing you to place it over any image you like and have it look like a framed picture.
Another fancy free asset is this cutaway diagram for PowerPoint presentations. Use it to show cross-sections of spherical objects, or go metaphorical and describe the layers of a complex topic or concept. Each shape and piece of the diagram can be selected and manipulated, so you aren’t limited to what you see here.
Olivia – Cutout Character
Olivia is youthful, casual and ready for anything. This cutout is well-suited to courses where health and fitness are key components, and at the same time works as an accurate representation of a college-aged person during downtime.
Find these and other free assets in our free library and improve your eLearning courses today!
