eLearning Brothers is honored to announce that we have been selected as 1 of 20 fine training companies in this year’s Content Development Companies Watch List. Each company was selected by TrainingIndustry.com based on their industry visibility, versatility, growth, depth and breadth of subject matter expertise, quality of clients, and geographic reach.
To say the least, we are thrilled to have made it onto such a prestigious list, and we are grateful to TrainingIndustry.com for recognizing our recent strides particular in the realm of custom eLearning.
Though our template work has garnered much acclaim, over the past few years we have also been privileged to work with several distinguished clients to bring world-class custom eLearning into their training programs.
In 2014, we worked hand-in-hand with the North Carolina Virtual Learning Community (VLC), a collaboration of institutions in the North Carolina Community College System, to create a custom Articulate Storyline course for Art History.
Due to the nature of the project, it was necessary that the visual elements of the course be top-notch, showcasing the works of art students learned about in a way that would do them justice. Images were front-and-center with information readily available and beautiful backdrops illustrating the artistic genres and regions being discussed. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and agree with North Carolina VLC in saying the project “was a delight.”
In the same year, we also partnered with Acumen Learning to expand upon their existing eLearning crash course in business acumen. The course was designed to give learners the essential knowledge necessary to succeed in business. Acumen wanted to make the course more visually engaging, more versatile, and use it to reach a wider audience, and each of these goals were met.
As Acumen said in their testimonial, “eLearning Brothers took our existing eLearning course and completely re-designed it from the ground up. More importantly, the course design and interaction completely surpassed my CEO’s expectations. We’ll be using this course for a long time coming, and I’m sure that our working relationship with eLearning Brothers has only begun.”
More recently, we collaborated with PayPal to make an award-winning orientation course for their new employees. The idea was to create a something that can be viewed remotely by PayPal’s many employees stationed away from major training centers, but still remain interactive enough to allow the far-flung trainees to communicate and see how they compare to their colleagues.
In the above example, learners are asked why they decided to join PayPal, along with their location and an optional comment. After answering, learners can see the answers and comments of their fellows, along with the results of the poll. This gets learners involved with one another, while giving them perspective and a sense of place within the ranks of their colleagues. With collaborative training modules like this one, we can combine the benefits of in-person training with the versatility of a remote course.
