storyline quiz templates

As we have frequently pointed out, quizzes are an integral component of eLearning. Not only do they test the learner’s knowledge, but they allow the learner to use their new skills and knowledge in a practical situation shortly after learning it. This helps to solidify the info in the learner’s brain, further enticing them to engage with the material.

Though we have many Articulate Storyline quiz templates, today we thought we would share a few that we really enjoy and some tips for their use in your overall course.

Race for the Treasure

You need your learner to engage with the material and nothing does that quite like a game. Lucky for them, many of our templates can be thought of as gamified quizzes. One such template is our popular Race for the Treasure, which follows pirates all over a treasure map searching for gold at the various X’s that mark the spot. If they answer correctly, there’s gold to be had! If not… well, have fun playing in the dirt.

Multiple Choice 3

Articulate Quizmaker '13 Template

This Quizmaker template is your standard multiple choice quiz template, but with a smooth, flattened aesthetic that creates a sleek modern feel to the quiz experience. The geometric shapes, coupled with a sans serif typeface and arrow lines darting from the question to the answers really bring a technological, circuit board-like feeling.

This particular template is made for Articulate Quizmaker, but you can easily import it into Storyline with these instructions.

Drag and Drop

Storyline Drag and Drop One To One Top Flat Blue

Not all quizzes have to plug into an LMS. Every now and then, you just need to do a quick knowledge check and give feedback. This generic but effective drag and drop template fits that bill perfectly and is easily customized with minimal effort. The learner simply needs to line up the right labels with the right answers.

In this template, we are presented with a character who has a conundrum. They ask a question or make a statement to the learner, who must drag and drop the character to the correct door. The question can be anything as long as there are two options. You can add any cutout characters you like or even inanimate objects that need sorting if you so desire.

You can find these and many other templates like them in our Storyline template library. Download today! Tell us how you properly implement quizzes in your eLearning in the comments below.
