captivate introductions

In May, we announced a series of 8 new Captivate course introductions.  We were very proud of all of them, but for brevity’s sake, we only got around to showcasing 4 of them. Today we wanted to take a look at the other half of our inventory of animated intros, so without further adieu, we present to you…

The Blocks intro sees a set of black obelisks rising into view as title text emerges from a clean teal background. A synthesized tapping rhythm creates an intriguing atmosphere full of possibility and futuristic charm. With the teal background fading to gray near the top, you almost get the impression of abstract skyscrapers penetrating the clouds. This template is a great way to get learners instantly hooked, especially if the rest of your course holds a similar aesthetic.

Cloudspace is the epitome of dreamy and soothing. A smooth, classy piano solo plays as a serifed title text floats in through a cloudy night sky on a wave of magic and whimsy. Due to it’s peaceful aesthetic and soundscape, Cloudspace is especially useful for your more low-key Captivate projects

Enchant is perhaps our most romantic intro template. Starting with a close-up of a rose, a flute/guitar duet leads us into a translucent pink overlay full of irregular geometric shapes and a hypnotic pattern of concentric circles, topped off with a swirly script typeface that adds to the intimacy of the human-ness of this lovely template.

Finally, our Palms intro is intensely tropical, but with a monochromatic treatment. White palm leaves drift into view over a black screen, while title text is ushered in spinning by a carefree musical tune. Try the Palms template when you want to open your next course with a summery island theme or generally want to convey a laid-back vibe to your learners.

Try out one of our Captivate introductions and start your course off right!
