AICC – Communicating with your LMS

Apr 02, 2010 1 Comment by Brother Andrew

When I first got into eLearning is was all about AICC. Everyone was trying to figure out how to easily make their courses AICC compliant so that they could communicate with the Learning Management System (LMS).

Then SCORM came along and AICC seemed “old school”. Everyone was finding ways/tools to be SCORM compliant. In the end I really didn’t care which one was used as long as my courses passed data to/from the LMS.

It seems that I’ve been hearing more about AICC in recent months and the standard seems to be alive and well. So, with that in mind I thought that I’d share some more detailed AICC information and what files are involved: “AICC and the LMS“.

Here another good article: “10 Things to Consider Before Choosing an LMS“.
